What is Re-mixing?
Re-mixing is creating a brand new mix from the original instrument and vocal tracks. This process gives the most flexibility from a creativity perspective.
What is Mastering?
Mastering differs from mixing in that it is applied to the final stereo mix file. This final step consists of broad strokes applied to the overall mix in terms of EQ, Compression, Limiting, and Stereo Imaging, to adjust levels and balancing and further enhance the mix and finalize it for release.
